Collection: Decorative Metal Trays

Electroformed metal trays with no stone at all — leaves, coral, lace and fossil forms grown in real copper and brass, in gold, silver or antique finish. Small enough for jewelry, a candle or a set of keys.

No stone at all in this group. Copper and brass are grown onto a form until the metal holds the shape on its own - coral, fish, sunflowers, fossils, spirals and lace - in gold, silver or antique finish. They are small: a jewelry dish, a landing spot for keys, a base for one candle. Every surface here is electroformed, so the veins and ribs of the original form come through.

Stone trays are in Trays, Round Trays, Organic Edge Trays and Marble Trays.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put food on a metal tray?

Keep food off the bare metal. Use them for jewelry, keys, a candle or something already wrapped.

How is a leaf or coral shape made?

Metal is grown onto a form in a bath until it has thickness of its own, then the form is released. That is why the fine detail survives.

Are two trays of the same design identical?

Close, but not the same. Each is grown individually, so the metal texture and the depth of the finish vary a little.

How do I clean the metal?

A dry or barely damp cloth. Keep it away from damp and from household cleaners, which attack the finish.
