An elongated decorative tray in worked metal, its face pierced through in a fossil-like pattern of open cells.
The cells are open, so light passes through the face and the shadow under it changes with the lamp. Gold keeps the ridges bright; the two-tone finish darkens one end and leaves the other pale.
