Two screw pulls rather than single hole knobs. The Barbarella handles put a slice of agate on a brass fitting with a screw at either end, sold in sets of four in red, green, white and sage, and in stones such as kambaba jasper. The rest are shaped entirely in electroformed brass, like the swirling snakes pair. Fitting is the thing to check first: measure center to center between the two holes already in your door, because a pull cannot be shifted the way a knob can.

What is a Barbarella pull?

Our name for the stone fronted handle: an agate slice held on a brass fitting, with a fixing screw at each end rather than one in the middle.

Can I fit a two screw handle where a knob is now?

Only by drilling a second hole. A knob uses one central hole, a handle needs two at a set spacing.

Does the agate front wear with daily use?

Agate is hard and holds its polish under hands. The metal around it is electroformed rather than plated, so there is no coating to rub thin at the grip.
