About the Agate
Aqua agate at this size gives the banding room to show. The color runs from a full blue-green through mint to white in concentric bands, following the shape of the cavity the agate grew in.
The slab is thick, but agate stays translucent where it thins, so light across the face lifts the pale bands and leaves the saturated ones dark. A cut through a cavity can open a crystal pocket, rough and bright against the polish.
How It’s Made
One irregular slab of roughly 6" x 7", kept in the outline the stone was cut to. The full edge is electroformed: real metal grown onto the stone until it has genuine thickness and bonded permanently, never a leaf or coating that can rub off. Silver keeps an aqua stone cool and clean, gold warms the green side of it, and rose gold is the softest of the three.

Agate is natural stone, so no two slabs share an outline, a set of bands or a depth of color.

An electroformed brass base comes with the clock at no extra cost, so it stands on a desk, a shelf or a sideboard. There is also a sturdy hook at the back for hanging it.
