About the Agate
Blue agate in a single slab shows the whole run of the color at once: deep blue in the outer bands, easing through steel and pale gray-blue to white at the middle. The bands are concentric and none is straight.
The stone is thick, and where the cut is shallow it passes light, so the paler blues brighten and the banding gains depth. The perimeter is left as the stone was cut, not machined round.
How It's Made
A single irregular slab, roughly 4" in diameter, with an electroformed edge: real metal grown onto the stone until it carries genuine thickness and is bonded to it permanently, never a leaf or a coating that can rub off. Silver holds the blue cool and is the closest match, gold sets a warm rim against it, and rose gold softens the contrast.

Each piece is unique, with slight variation in shape and color, so the blues and the banding change from clock to clock.
Mounting
An electroformed brass base is included at no extra cost, so the clock stands on a desk, a windowsill or a shelf. A sturdy hook at the back is there if a wall suits better.
