A serving tray cut from a single slice of blue agate with the outline left as the stone broke, edged in metal, with a round metal loop handle at each end.
The blue is pale and cloudy, deeper toward one side. The outline is not cut to a shape, so the metal rim follows every turn of it. The two handles are simple metal loops, set flat against the edge rather than standing up.

Every piece uses natural stone, so slight variation in color, marking, shape and size will occur.
Using It
Put out drinks, breakfast, or bottles and glasses on a sideboard, or use it on a dresser for perfume and jewelry. Lift it by the handles rather than by the stone. Wipe with a damp cloth and dry it straight after, and keep it out of the dishwasher. Do not cut on it.
