The Plaque

A tree with spreading branches fills the arched crown, with laurel at the lower corners. The name sits large beneath it, with a small line above, the dates, and a line along the foot. It suits a memorial, or a dedication such as thanks for years of service.

Craftsmanship

Electroformed metal over a sculpted form, finished in antique brass. The lettering and the design stand off a dark textured ground at more than one height, so the piece reads as modeled rather than stamped. The metal is bonded to the surface rather than painted or plated, so there is nothing on it to chip, flake or peel.

Sealed under a UV-protective finish, so it holds its color on an interior wall, a covered porch or in a sheltered corner of the garden.

Personalization

Five lines are yours: a small line at the top such as DEDICATED TO, the name, two lines beneath such as IN GRATITUDE FOR and 30 YEARS OF SERVICE, and a year or dates at the foot. Only the name is required. Send the wording exactly as it should read. A design preview comes back by email, and once you approve it the piece leaves the workshop in five to seven business days.

Mounting

Three ways, chosen at checkout.

  • Keyhole slots: two screws in the wall, and it lifts off whenever you want to move it.
  • Peel-and-stick tape: sealed strips already on the back. Needs a smooth, clean, dry surface.
  • Floating stud mount: threaded studs stand it clear of the wall, so a shadow falls underneath.
