The Sign
An arched plaque with a stag's head sculpted above the field, antlers rising clear of the outline and breaking the top edge. The number sits large beneath it, with the street name on a raised band at the foot.
The antlers going past the border are deliberate. It stops the sign reading as a rectangle with a picture in it.
Craftsmanship
The head is grown in real copper and brass over a sculpted form, which is the only way antlers hold up at this size. Cast, the fine points either fill in or snap off; grown over the form they stay separate and sharp. The head, the antlers and the lettering are cut at their own heights, 2 to 5 mm off the ground, so the animal has modeling in it rather than sitting flat. The plaque itself is 8 to 10 mm thick and solid all the way through.
Readable from the road
Warm brass raised against a dark ground carries far better than a flat painted number, because what the eye picks up at distance is contrast. It holds in overcast light and under a porch lamp, not just in sun.
Built for outside
Sealed under a UV-protective finish. It will not fade, chalk or lift in rain, snow or full sun, and there is nothing in the body that can rust and bleed down the wall.
Personalization
Two lines: the house number and the street. Send them exactly as you want them set. Long names are fine, we size the lettering to the name rather than the other way round. A design preview comes by email and nothing is produced until you have approved it.

The antler points read individually from 8 x 6 upward. At the two smallest sizes the rack is simplified so it stays clean rather than becoming a tangle.
Mounting
Three ways, chosen at checkout.
- Keyhole slots: two screws in the wall, simple and easy to level.
- Peel-and-stick tape: sealed strips already applied. No drilling, good on painted timber and render.
- Floating stud mount: reinforced studs that hold it off the wall so the antlers throw their own shadow.
Hardware and instructions are included with all three.
Where it works
A lodge, a cabin, a stone porch, a gate pillar at the head of a track. It suits dark timber and gray stone; on pale render the outline reads hardest.
Care
Dry cloth, lightly. No polish and nothing abrasive on the dark ground.
