The Plaque

A tall plaque with a deep frame of sculpted flowers and scrollwork all the way round and a flower crest at the head. Your wording runs down the open field in raised script, ending with the date.

Craftsmanship

Electroformed metal over a sculpted form, finished in antique brass. The frame, the flowers and the lettering stand off a darker textured ground at more than one height, so the piece reads as modeled rather than stamped. The metal is bonded to the surface rather than painted or plated, so there is nothing on it to chip, flake or peel.

Sealed under a UV-protective finish, so it holds its color on an interior wall, a covered porch or in a sheltered corner of the garden.

Personalization

Up to five lines are yours, as in the pictures: Welcome to / William & / Kate’s / Engagement party / 02.26.26. Only the first line is required. Names, dates and wording are set exactly as you send them. A design preview comes back by email, and once you approve it the piece leaves the workshop in five to seven business days.

The petals on the frame separate fully from 7 x 5 upward. At 6 x 4 the frame is simplified slightly so the names stay clear.

Mounting

Three ways, chosen at checkout.

  • Keyhole slots: two screws in the wall, and it lifts off whenever you want to move it.
  • Peel-and-stick tape: sealed strips already on the back. Needs a smooth, clean, dry surface.
  • Floating stud mount: threaded studs stand it clear of the wall, so a shadow falls underneath.
