The Plaque

A wide plaque with a scrolled double frame, a crest of leaves rising at the head and scrollwork closing it at the foot. Both names run across the center joined by an ampersand, with Est. and the date beneath, raised in script on a darkened ground.

Craftsmanship

Electroformed metal over a sculpted form, finished in antique brass. The lettering, the frame and the crest stand off a darkened ground at more than one height, so the piece reads as modeled rather than stamped. The metal is bonded to the surface rather than painted or plated, so there is nothing on it to chip, flake or peel.

Sealed under a UV-protective finish, so it holds its color on an interior wall, a covered porch or in a sheltered corner of the garden.

Personalization

Three lines are yours: the names, a short line such as Est., and the date. Only the names are required. Write the date the way you write it, such as June 14 2026 or 06.14.2026, and that is how it is set. A design preview comes back by email, and once you approve it the piece leaves the workshop in five to seven business days.

The leaves in the crest read fully at 8 x 6 and above. At 6 x 4 and 7 x 5 the crest is simplified slightly so the names and date stay crisp.

Mounting

Three ways, chosen at checkout.

  • Keyhole slots: two screws in the wall, and it lifts off whenever you want to move it.
  • Peel-and-stick tape: sealed strips already on the back. Needs a smooth, clean, dry surface.
  • Floating stud mount: threaded studs stand it clear of the wall, so a shadow falls underneath.
