About the Rose Quartz
Rose quartz can look almost white in the middle of the day and much warmer under a lamp. Cloudy patches and clearer zones sit side by side in the same slab, and the boundary between them is soft rather than drawn.
Across a long rectangle the color usually shifts along the length, heavier at one end than the other. The polished surface is smooth without being glassy, so it reflects a room quietly instead of throwing it back.
How It’s Made
The stone is cut into a 9" x 14" rectangle and edged all the way round in electroformed metal, grown onto the stone until it has real thickness and permanently bonded rather than applied as a coating that can rub off. Solid brass handles are fitted at the short ends in either an open leaf or a laurel arch shape. Gold, silver and rose gold are each offered on the handles and the tray together, so the metal reads as one piece.

No two slabs are alike, so the depth of pink and the pattern of the clouding vary between trays.

Use and Care
Wipe the stone and the brass clean with a soft, damp cloth and dry them right away. Serve on a liner or with servingware rather than putting food onto the stone.
