About the Agate
At this size a slab of white agate shows a full sweep of banding rather than a fragment of it. The rings run from cream at the outside to a brighter white further in, separated by fine gray lines, and they curve with the shape the stone grew into.
The middle of an agate is where the crystal pockets sit, and a large piece often carries one: an area of clear quartz points that reflects while the rest of the face stays soft. The outer margins thin enough to glow with light behind them.
How It’s Made
One irregular slab, thick through the body, with the broken edge of the agate left as the outline of the clock instead of being cut back to a circle. Metal is electroformed along that edge, grown onto the stone and permanently bonded, so it carries real thickness and cannot rub off the way a leaf or coating does. Gold warms the cream in the stone, silver picks up the gray lines, and rose gold gives the white a softer border. The hour and minute hands follow the edging chosen.

Care
