Optional. Draw or design your own plaque on paper and upload a photo or scan of it, as in the pictures, and we make it in your design with your words. A hand drawing, a photo or a computer-made image all work. Leave this empty and we make the design shown in the pictures with your words.

We make exactly what you type. Your wording is reproduced exactly as you enter it here, spelling, capitals and punctuation included. If you type in lower case, we set it in lower case. The wording in the photographs is only an example. A design preview is emailed for your approval before anything is made.

The Plaque

A wide cartouche, broader than it is tall, with a rose at the crown, scrolls turning out at both sides and a shield with a rose over a chevron at the center. The name runs on a banner across the middle, with a small banner beneath it for the year.

Craftsmanship

Electroformed metal over a sculpted form, finished in antique brass. The lettering and the design stand off a dark textured ground at more than one height, so the piece reads as modeled rather than stamped. The metal is bonded to the surface rather than painted or plated, so there is nothing on it to chip, flake or peel.

Sealed under a UV-protective finish, so it holds its color on an interior wall, a covered porch or in a sheltered corner of the garden.

Personalization

The family or house name and the established line are yours, as ASHCROFT MANOR and EST. 1927 are in the pictures. Only the name is required. To have it in your own design, draw it on paper and upload a photo or scan with your order; leave that empty and we make the design shown, with your words. By sending us artwork you confirm it is yours to use. A design preview comes back by email, and once you approve it the piece leaves the workshop in five to seven business days.
