The Sign

A rectangular plate with notched corners and a plain raised border, with a wild rose spray, one open bloom and a bud, at the right. Four lines: the number large, the street, the town and state beneath it, and the family name at the foot.

Craftsmanship

Electroformed metal over a sculpted form, finished in antique brass. The lettering and the design stand off a dark textured ground at more than one height, so the piece reads as modeled rather than stamped. The metal is bonded to the surface rather than painted or plated, so there is nothing on it to chip, flake or peel.

Sealed under a UV-protective finish and weather-treated, so it holds its color outside, on a gatepost, a pillar or the wall by the door.

Personalization

The number, the street, the town and state, and the family name are yours, as 428, PEACHTREE LANE, SAVANNAH, GEORGIA, and THE WILLIAMS are in the pictures. Only the number is required. A design preview comes back by email, and once you approve it the sign leaves the workshop in five to seven business days.

Three ways, chosen at checkout.

  • Keyhole slots: two screws in the wall, and it lifts off whenever you want to move it.
