The Stone
Obsidian is a glass made by a volcano. The melt cooled too quickly for any crystal structure to form, which is why it has no grain and no banding, only a solid black body and a bright, hard surface.
Natural variations in the stone’s colour, grain, veining and surface finish will occur. The stone in your piece may differ from the photographs.
Craftsmanship
Each knob is a faceted piece of black obsidian held in a thick electroformed metal bezel. The metal is bonded to the stone rather than painted or plated, so there is nothing on it to chip, flake or peel. Choose gold, silver or rose gold at checkout.
