About the Dalmatian Jasper
Dalmatian jasper is a cream to off-white stone scattered with black spots, which is where the name comes from. The spots are dark mineral grains set through the body of the rock, not markings on the surface, so they carry on wherever the stone is cut.
Polished, the pale ground takes a soft even shine and the spots stay flat black against it. The spacing changes from piece to piece: some faces are lightly freckled, others closely peppered.
How It's Made
The stone is hand faceted into a 2" round, so the front is a set of small flat planes and the light breaks across it instead of holding one shine. The edge is electroformed, meaning real metal is grown onto the stone until the rim has thickness of its own and is permanently bonded, not a leaf or coating that rubs off. Thick metallic gold is standard, with silver and rose gold made to order.

The spotting is natural and the facets are cut by hand, so no two knobs carry the same pattern.
Fit and Installation
Made for cabinet doors, drawers and wardrobe fronts with a single drilled hole. The 1.75" brass bolt is supplied and no additional hardware is required. Tighten the bolt by hand rather than forcing it; the knob should sit firm without pressure on the stone.
Care
Dust with a soft dry cloth, since the facet lines hold grit. Keep household cleaners off the stone and the metal rim.
