About the Agate
White and gray agate is the highest-contrast version of the stone. Chalky white bands alternate with gray ones, and because the two layers differ in density the pattern is easy to follow across the whole face.
The white bands are nearly opaque while the gray let light through, so the slab shifts as light moves across it. The banding curves with the cavity the agate grew in, often closing around a crystal pocket.
How It’s Made
One large piece of white gray agate makes the top. The face is ground and polished flat and the outline is left natural, which is why length and width are quoted as ranges.
The edge is electroformed, with metal grown onto the stone until the band has real thickness and is permanently bonded. The legs are electroformed metal in the same finish. Silver disappears into the white bands, gold plays against them, and rose gold is the middle choice.

Slight variation in natural stone will occur, and a photograph of the finished table is sent for approval before it ships. Other sizes and shapes can be made to order on request.
Assembly
The top and legs travel as separate parts. The legs are removable and thread into the underside, so the table is easily assembled upon delivery and can be taken apart again.
