A palm-sized bowl hollowed out of green agate, offered 2" or 3" across. It takes rings and earrings on a dresser, or nuts and wrapped candy on a side table.
The green here is pale and soft, closer to sage or celadon than to lime, with white cloudy swirls moving through the well and a chalkier band near the rim. The inside is hollowed out and polished smooth; the outside is covered in a thick layer of metal, with patches of bare stone showing through, and the rim runs uneven.

Every piece uses natural stone, so slight variation in color, marking, shape and size will occur.
Using It
It takes rings, earrings and cufflinks on a dresser, paper clips on a desk, or a small handful of nuts on a side table. Dust with a dry cloth; wipe a spill with a barely damp one and dry the stone at once. Not for the dishwasher, and the metal will not rub off with handling.
