Collection: Organic Edge Clocks

Wall clocks that keep the natural edge of the agate slab, so the outline of the clock is the outline of the stone. Every one is a different shape.

The slab keeps the outline it came out of the ground with, so the shape of the clock is the shape of the stone and no two match. Around a 10 by 15 inch nominal size in gray, brown, green, golden brown and rose quartz agate. Electroformed metal is worked along every chip and curve of the raw edge. A ticking battery quartz movement runs the hands.

Cut shapes instead: Rectangular Clocks, Square Clocks, Circular Clocks and Clocks.

Frequently asked questions

Will an uneven outline make the hands sit crooked?

No. The movement and the hanging point are set to the face, so the hands read level however the outline wanders.

How much does the outline vary from the listed size?

The 10 by 15 inch figure is the slab it is cut from. The silhouette wanders in and out around that, which is the point of the shape.

Is the raw edge sharp to handle?

The electroformed metal is worked along the whole outline, so the broken face of the stone is capped rather than left bare.

Can I ask for a particular outline?

No. You choose the stone and the color; the outline is whatever that slab gives, and it is different every time.
