About the Aventurine
Mustard agate aventurine runs a warm yellow-gold through the slab, deeper where the stone thickens and paler at the thin margins. The color moves in wide irregular bands, with a fine grain through the lighter zones and small crystal pockets where the quartz had room to form.
Aventurine holds a soft internal shimmer, so the face changes with the light. Near a window the thin margins go translucent and the banding shows through; under a lamp the slab reads solid, closer to ochre than gold.
How It's Made
The slab keeps the outline the stone came with, so the agate decides the shape of the clock. Metal is electroformed around that outline, grown onto the stone until the rim has real thickness and permanently bonded to it, never a leaf or coating that rubs off. Gold warms the mustard tone, rose gold pulls the rim toward pink, and silver sharpens the yellow. The hands are matched to the edging chosen.

A sturdy hook at the back hangs it on a wall. The electroformed brass base comes with it free of charge, for a desk or a mantel.

Care
