The Sign
A soft-shouldered cartouche with magnolia blooms and their broad leaves sculpted across the upper corners and trailing down one side. The number sits large at the center, the street name on a plain band below it, both raised in brass against a blackened ground.
Southern in the way a porch is southern, without being fussy about it.
Craftsmanship
The metal is grown over the sculpted form rather than cast, which is what allows a magnolia petal to keep its curl and its thin edge. Cast in a mold, petals that fine come out as one thick mass. The flowers, the leaves and the lettering are each cut at their own height, from 2 to 5 mm off the ground, and the plaque runs 8 to 10 mm thick and is solid all the way through.
Readable from the road
Raised brass takes the light; the recessed ground holds shadow underneath it. That contrast is what carries a house number down a driveway, and it works in overcast light as well as sun. The flowers are deliberately kept to the edges so nothing crowds the numerals.
Built for outside
UV-protected and weather-treated after the patina goes on. Humidity, heat and long afternoon sun will not fade the finish or lift it, and there is no steel in it to rust and streak down a painted wall.
Personalization
The house number and the street name. Send them written exactly as they should appear. Long names are welcome; we size the lettering to fit the name rather than cutting the name to fit the plate. You approve a design preview by email before anything is produced.

The individual petals separate cleanly from 8 x 6 upward. Below that the blooms are simplified a little so the number stays the strongest thing on the sign.
Mounting
Three ways, chosen at checkout.
- Keyhole slots: two screws, and it comes off the wall in a second when you need it to.
- Peel-and-stick tape: sealed strips applied before it ships. No holes. Smooth, clean, dry surfaces only.
- Floating stud mount: reinforced studs that stand it off the wall and throw a shadow line beneath the blooms.
Hardware and instructions are included with all three.
Where it works
By a front door, on a porch column, on a brick pier at the end of a drive. It sits especially well on white or cream paintwork, where the dark ground reads as a deliberate block rather than a shadow.
Care
A soft dry cloth, or clean water and a dry-off after pollen season. Keep polish and cleaners away from it.
