The Sign
An arch-topped plaque with oak sprays sculpted across both lower corners, leaves and acorns overlapping the border and breaking the outline. The number runs large across the middle and the street name sits beneath it on its own line.

Craftsmanship
Grown in real copper and brass over the sculpted form, not cast, which is why the oak leaves keep their lobed edges and the acorn cups keep their texture. The leaves, the acorns and the lettering sit at their own heights, 2 to 5 mm off the ground, so the sprays have roundness rather than looking stamped. The plaque is 8 to 10 mm thick and solid all the way through.
Readable from the road
What makes a number carry is contrast, not size. The brass is raised and hand-buffed while the ground beneath stays dark and matte, so the numerals read as light against dark from the sidewalk, from a car, and in the low sun of a winter afternoon.
Built for outside
Sealed under a UV-protective finish. Rain, frost and sun do not fade it, lift it or mark it, and because there is no steel in the body there is nothing to rust and stain the wall below.
Personalization
Two lines: the number and the street. Send them set out exactly as you want them, including any unit letter. The lettering is sized to suit the length of your street name rather than the name being abbreviated to fit. A design preview comes by email before we make anything.

The acorn cups hold their texture from 7 x 5 upward. At 6 x 4 the sprays are simplified slightly so the number and street stay clean.
Mounting
Three ways, chosen at checkout.
- Keyhole slots: two screws into the wall, easiest of the three to get level.
- Peel-and-stick tape: sealed strips already on the back. No drilling into siding or render.
- Floating stud mount: reinforced studs that hold it a fraction clear of the wall, which is the right choice on brick or stone.
Hardware and instructions are included with all three.

Next to a front door, on a garage wall, on a post at the end of a drive, or on a fence panel where a delivery driver will actually see it.
Care
Wipe it down with a soft dry cloth. Nothing abrasive, no brass polish; the dark ground is what makes the number legible.
