The Stone

Obsidian is volcanic glass. Lava cooled too fast for crystals to form, leaving a solid black material that breaks with a curved, shell-like fracture and takes a hard shine.

Natural variations in the stone’s colour, grain, veining and surface finish will occur. The stone in your piece may differ from the photographs.

Craftsmanship

Each knob is a rough piece of black obsidian in a thick electroformed metal cap at the base. The metal is bonded to the stone rather than painted or plated, so there is nothing on it to chip, flake or peel. Choose gold, silver or rose gold at checkout.
