About the Rose Quartz
Cut flat, rose quartz gives back one broad soft pink. Cut into facets, the same stone divides that color into planes, some catching the light and reading almost white, others holding the deeper pink, so the face has contrast in it.
The pink stays pale and slightly milky either way. What changes is how busy it looks: a faceted piece is livelier and picks up more from the lamps and the window around it.
How It's Made
The quartz is gem-cut by hand, faceted so every face takes the light a little differently, and it comes out smaller and sharper than the rounded version of this knob. The rim is electroformed, which means real metal is grown onto the stone until it has thickness of its own and is bonded for good, never a leaf or coating that can rub off. The edge is finished in thick metallic gold.

Facets are cut by hand, so the number of faces and the way they meet vary and no two knobs are exactly alike.
Fit and Installation
Small across but deep off the door, so it still gives a full grip on a drawer or a cabinet front. It mounts through one drilled hole with the 1.75" brass-finish bolt supplied, and no additional hardware is required. Tighten by hand rather than driving the bolt hard.
Care
Dust with a soft dry cloth, since facet lines hold grit. Keep household cleaners away from the stone and the gold edge.
