About the Aventurine
Sage green aventurine is a muted, dusty green shot through with tiny reflective inclusions. Those inclusions are what separate aventurine from plain green stone: they give the surface a faint glitter that comes and goes as the light angle changes, without making the face shiny.
The green is not even. It pools darker in some areas and thins to gray-green in others, with pale mineral flecks scattered across the body of the slab. At the cut edges the stone thins enough to pass a little light.
How It’s Made
An octagon, eight straight sides cut into a thick slab, which gives the clock a defined geometry rather than a raw outline. The edge is electroformed: real metal grown onto the stone and permanently bonded, so it has thickness of its own and none of the fragility of a leaf or a coating. Gold picks up the warm flecks in the aventurine, silver holds the green cool and even, and rose gold softens the corners. The hour and minute hands are matched to the edging chosen.

Mounting
The back carries a sturdy hook for a wall. The electroformed brass base is included at no extra cost, so the octagon can stand on a desk or a bookshelf.

Care
A soft dry cloth is enough. Water, polishes and chemical cleaners will mark the stone and the electroformed metal.
