Three cheese knives with handles cut from clear quartz: a wide flat blade for cutting and lifting, a rounded blade for spreading, and a two-prong fork. Stainless steel tools, stone handles.
The quartz reads smoky gray-white rather than colorless, cloudy in places and clearer in others, and light gets some way into it. The handles are broad irregular slabs with chipped edges, not sawn to a shape. Each handle is held in a metal band whose inner edge is cut in a row of scallops where it grips the stone, and that band is the same on every piece.

- Metal band around each handle, scalloped along its inner edge

Every piece uses natural stone, so slight variation in color, marking, shape and size will occur.
Using It
Put them out beside a cheese board: the wide flat blade cuts and lifts, the rounded one spreads, and the fork picks up the hard pieces. The steel is made for food; the handle is not, so keep it out of a long soak and do not leave food resting against it. Wash by hand and dry straight after. Never the dishwasher.
