About the Rose Quartz
Rose quartz is one of the softer-looking stones in the range: pink, cloudy and slightly waxy in appearance, without the sharp banding of agate. The color can pool in one part of a piece and thin out in another.
Because it is translucent, a polished flat face does not stop the eye at the surface. Light travels a short way in before the cloudiness catches it, and that is what gives the stone its glow.
How It's Made
The stone is cut to a 1.5" x 1.5" square and hand finished, so the pink face is flat and the corners are eased rather than left sharp. A band of metal is then electroformed around the edge, grown onto the stone and permanently bonded to it instead of laid over it as a coating that can lift. Gold, silver and copper edging can be ordered. The 2" bolt is supplied long so it can be cut back.

Because each is hand finished from natural stone, no two are exactly alike in tone, translucency or corner.
Fit and Installation
Suits cabinet doors, dresser drawers and wardrobe fronts. No additional hardware is required, and the 2" bolt can be trimmed to size for a thin front. The bolt only needs to be hand tight.
Care
Use a soft dry cloth. Household cleaners will dull the pink stone and the metal edging alike.
