About the Marble
White marble is a plainer material than agate: no rings, no crystal pockets, just a dense white ground with gray veining drifting across it. The veins wander rather than repeat, some fine as a pencil line and others wide and soft-edged where the mineral spread.
Marble does not pass light the way agate does. It holds a low, even sheen on the surface instead, so the face stays consistent from morning to evening and the veining is what carries the eye across it.
How It’s Made
The slab is hand chipped rather than sawn, thick and substantial, so the border is a broken, faceted edge instead of a machined line. Metal is electroformed onto that chipped edge, grown into every irregularity and permanently bonded, which is why it holds the shape and cannot rub off like a leaf or a coating. Gold reads warm against white marble, silver keeps it architectural, and rose gold softens the contrast. The hour and minute hands are matched to the edging chosen.

A Gift For
Marble suits a buyer who wants stone without pattern, and this size works over a desk, a console or a kitchen doorway. It is bought for housewarmings, weddings and corporate gifts, and it reads well in a rented apartment or an office alike.
Care
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Marble marks easily, so keep water, acidic cleaners and polishes away from the stone and the electroformed edging.
