A bat knob in electroformed metal with an antique finish, modelled with the wings spread. The metal is grown onto the form until it has real thickness, so there is no coating to rub off. The darker tone sits in the membrane between the wings, so the leading edges read lighter.

Each knob is finished by hand, so the depth of tone varies within a set.
