A small clock made from a single slab of mustard aventurine agate, with the hands set straight onto the stone.
The slab keeps the outline it was cut with, so the edge runs in and out rather than following a shape. The yellows and browns drift through the stone in soft bands. A thick metal edge is worked all the way round it and carries over the high and low points of the stone. The hands sit at the middle of the face.

Using It
Stand it on a desk or a shelf on the metal stand, or hang it from the hook at the back. Dust it with a dry soft cloth and keep water off the stone and the metal.
