About the Agate
Agate is chalcedony, a quartz so fine grained that no single crystal shows. It forms in layers along the wall of a cavity in rock, and those layers are the banding. On aqua agate they run pale blue green through to near white.
Cut across, the bands read as closed rings. Color steps from one to the next instead of fading, because each was laid down as its own deposit. The thin outer bands hold light.
How It’s Made
The top comes from a single piece of aqua agate rather than small slices fitted together, and the edge is left on the line the stone broke along. Electroformed metal is grown onto that edge in a bath until it stands as metal with thickness of its own, bonded to the agate and not brushed over it. The legs are made the same way. Silver holds blue green agate coolest, gold warms it, rose gold sits between.

Slight variation in natural stone will occur. An edge left on the stone's own line is never a true circle, so a top measures wider one way than the other.
Assembly
The legs are removable, so the table ships unassembled and is easily assembled on delivery. The legs fix to the underside of the top and unfix again for flat storage. Other sizes and shapes can be made to order on request.
A Gift For
This is a housewarming present, and a small one places easily in an apartment where a full coffee table will not fit. It reads well on a wedding registry, and as a host gift.
Care
Dust with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Blot liquid up immediately with a paper towel and wipe dry to avoid staining, and do not use chemical cleaners on the stone.
