About the Agate
Brown agate runs through the warm end of the stone: coffee, caramel, tobacco and cream, laid down in bands that curve with the pocket the stone grew in. The darker layers are dense and near opaque, the pale ones let a little light through.
Because the slab is small, the banding is close and busy, and a single top can hold a dozen changes of color across its width. Polished, brown agate takes a warm gloss rather than a cold shine.
How It’s Made
The slab is kept at its natural outline, so the top is an irregular shape with the raw break as its edge. The face is ground flat and polished, then metal is electroformed along that rim, grown onto the stone until it carries real thickness and a permanent bond, never a leaf or coating over the surface. The legs are electroformed to the same finish. Rose gold and gold run with the warmth in the stone, while silver cools it and holds the cream bands forward.

This piece is made in one size, and slight variation in natural stone will occur, so no two tops share an outline. Other sizes and shapes can be made to order on request.
Assembly
Legs are removable and the table is easily assembled on delivery. They screw onto the underside of the stone top, and the whole thing comes apart again the same way.
