Collection: Square Knobs

Stone sawn to a square and framed in metal on all four sides.

The most disciplined shape in the range. Each face is sawn to a true square and the metal runs as a frame around all four sides, so a row of them lines up the way a row of slices never will. Red, green, blue, white and black agate and rose quartz. On a shaker door or a flat slab front the square reads as deliberate rather than decorative, and it is the easiest group to use in quantity without the kitchen looking busy.

Other shapes sit under Cabinet Knobs. Two-hole pulls are in Cabinet Handles.

Frequently asked questions

Do square knobs line up with each other?

Yes. The outline is sawn rather than natural, so a run of them sits square to one another. The stone inside the frame still differs.

Which doors suit a square knob?

Flat slab fronts and shaker doors. The straight edge answers the straight line of the door.

Is the metal frame part of the stone or added?

Grown onto it. Electroforming builds the metal directly on the stone as a bonded layer, so the frame is not a clip that can come loose.
