We make exactly what you type. Your wording is reproduced exactly as you enter it here, spelling, capitals and punctuation included. If you type in lower case, we set it in lower case. The Ornament
A heart with a softly rolled edge, your baby's handprint and footprint raised side by side on the face.
Hand and foot sit together inside the heart without crowding, which is the whole reason this shape works.
Craftsmanship
Electroformed metal over a sculpted form, finished in antique brass. The prints and the lettering stand proud of a blackened ground, so the piece reads by contrast rather than by outline, which is what carries under tree lights.
Personalization
Ink your baby's hand and foot on plain paper and photograph the sheets. We model both prints at their own size, with the creases and the soft edges left in. Then the name in capitals, a short line underneath — our Christmas miracle, my first Christmas, our little star — and the year. A preview comes back by email before anything is made.
