The Sign

A plate with a deep arch, mountain ridges cut in receding layers across the lower half, and a spray of mountain laurel at the left. Three lines: the number very large at the top, the house name beneath it, and the town and state small at the foot.

Craftsmanship

Electroformed metal over a sculpted form, finished in antique brass. The lettering and the design stand off a dark textured ground at more than one height, so the piece reads as modeled rather than stamped. The metal is bonded to the surface rather than painted or plated, so there is nothing on it to chip, flake or peel.

Sealed under a UV-protective finish and weather-treated, so it holds its color outside, on a gatepost, a pillar or the wall by the door.

Personalization

The number, the house name, and the town and state are yours, as 742, BLUE RIDGE HAVEN, and BOONE, NORTH CAROLINA are in the pictures. Only the number is required. A design preview comes back by email, and once you approve it the sign leaves the workshop in five to seven business days.

Mounting

Three ways, chosen at checkout.

  • Keyhole slots: two screws in the wall, and it lifts off whenever you want to move it.
